CURRENT EXHIBITION

The Greensburg Art Center and the Greensburg Hempfield Library announce the upcoming exhibition, “The Figure Drawing Artists of Greensburg.” This exhibit is part of the collaborative effort “Picture This at the Library.”
It runs from June 4 through July 29, 2025, with an opening reception from 5-7 pm on June 4, 2025. It is free and open to the public. Come and see the portraits!

UPCOMING EXHIBITIONS
Pittsburgh artist Charles McCarson Jackson was born in 1929. He attended Carnegie Tech (now Carnegie Mellon University) and Yale and served in the Air Force. He earned painting and architecture degrees before setting up shop in the 1960s in a 19th century manse on the Northside of Pittsburgh. In the ’60s, he devoted his life to observing the city, its workings and its people.
