Mosaic Art from the Greensburg Art Center has arrived in Bayamon, Puerto Rico On December 25 a collaboration by Rosemary Sovyak and Tom Niggel was sent to Gloria Gonzalez’s aunt in Bayamon. The work was entitled Mosaic Iconography of the Blessed Mother with the Christ Child. Her aunt presented the mosaic to the rural La Ascension Del Senor Church. Deacon Luis Dias and Padre Pedro were delighted to receive the gifts. When the icon was presented to the congregation after Mass, the members were asked to pray for Tom, Rose and Gloria. GAC has gone international!

We are planning landscape improvements to the grounds and the sculpture garden. If you have been considering purchasing a tree or shrub in memory or in honor of someone, that information will be needed by the end of February to be included in the improvements.

EXHIBITION OPPORTUNITY The Westmoreland Museum of American Art: Call for op-Up Exhibition Proposals. The Westmoreland is accepting proposals for Pop-Up Exhibitions, which are held in the Robertshaw Gallery (adjacent to the lobby on the 1st floor). Artists working in all media will be considered.
