“It takes a village” or in this case an Art Center to pull off a great party like we had for Art on the Vine April 26. There were 105 attendees who enjoyed the food, wine, music and each other. The silent auction created some frenzied bidding, and people went home with original art works to enjoy. Thank you very much to everyone who helped in any way – painting wine glasses, mailing invitations, creating decorations, donating props, decorations, time, talent and energy. Many thanks to the food providers. The food and the table décor were extraordinary. Not to be forgotten, thanks to everyone who helped to clean up (our Art Center is now ready for classes and the next exhibit.) Additional thanks to all artists who donated their work to the silent auction. Also, thanks to those who purchased the works. The proceeds go entirely to the ART Center. A full financial report will be presented at the club meeting May 13
GREENSBURG ARTS WALK
The Greensburg Art Center participated in Greensburg’s Arts Walk with a tent and project for children. The activity was a print making design on a cloth bag which could then be used to collect other “prizes”. The volunteers were Pat Majcher, Denise Moore and Rose Sovyak
