We have made a few changes and clarifications regarding our gallery SALES AND RECEIPTS. We hope this email will help everyone understand the importance of completing sales receipts correctly. The diagram explains the meaning and importance of all the information needed.

We know that filling out the sales receipts takes time, but the sales receipts are so important to the efficient running of the Center as well as correct reimbursement of your fellow artisans.

Monitor Rewards Program
This is a new plan to reward our fantastic monitors…who manage to keep this enterprise (GAC) up and running. They literally keep the doors open, and all GAC members are GRATEFUL!
We’ll divide each year into 3 four month sections, because classes are offered three times a year. Monitors will be offered discounts for classes based on a sliding scale for the number of shifts they cover in a specific four month period. Ongoing classes and open studios are exempt, but classes offered for a specific set # of weeks, as well as workshops, and studio rentals are eligible for this incentive plan. This plan will, hopefully, encourage more members to become monitors, and existing monitors to take more shifts!
The 3 four month periods will be:
Jan 1st thru April 30th, May 1st thru Aug 31st, and Sept.1st thru Dec. 31st.
If a monitor covers a total of 4 shifts in a specific four month period….they will receive a 10% discount toward tuition.
5 shifts in a specific four month period….they will receive a 15% discount toward tuition.
6 shifts in a specific four month period….they will receive a 20% discount toward tuition.
7 shifts in a specific four month period….they will receive a 25% discount toward tuition.
8 shifts in a specific four month period….they will receive a 30% discount toward tuition.
9 shifts in a specific four month period….they will receive a 35% discount toward tuition.
10 shifts in a specific four month period…they will receive a 40% discount toward tuition.
11 shifts in a specific four month period…they will receive a 45% discount toward tuition.
And finally….12 shifts in a specific four month period will a 50% discount.
The reward discount will NOT exceed 50% under any circumstance. However, the reward discounts are IN ADDITION TO the 10% members discount.
For workshops and rental of studios, the discounts will be the same.
At the end of each four month period, I will mail a card to each monitor that lists their number of shifts and their corresponding discount. The monitors will then be able to use this discount on one class, workshop, or studio rental. The discount is good for ONE YEAR from the date the card is issued. Discounts cannot be combined. Each must be used on a separate class, workshop, etc.
