!!!  ART SAMPLERS  !!!
This is a great way to try something new and exciting without committing to 4, 6, or 8 weeks. Trying out a new form of art may be what you need to brighten up the winter.  One day workshops in Felting, Gelli Printing, Watercolor, Oils, Air Brush, Pastels, Silk Scarves, Screen Folk Art and Color are offered throughout January, February and March. Registration for Weekend Workshops is available online at greensburgartcenter.org.  You can also mail in your info to the Art Center. Contact Pat Majcher (majr1186@comcast.net, 724-244-6584) with questions about the workshops.

The Winter Weekend Workshops have been highly successful. Thanks to all presenters and participants. What a way to warm up the winter! The workshops will conclude the first weekend of March. The regular Spring classes will begin soon after that. The schedule should be ready by the 3rd week of February. There will be new clay classes beginning in March and April. Watch the web site for more information.

ATTENTION FIGURE DRAWING ARTISTS!  Attention Figure Drawing Artists and those who want to give drawing the figure a try!   A small group of us meet monthly to take advantage of the opportunity to sit before a person from our midst who poses for us.  Try asking your friend or spouse to do this and you will see the value of having a willing volunteer as a model!  Never fear!!  We take the opportunity to share tips and strategies with ways each of us has discovered to get a successful drawing on canvas or paper.  This is a no intimidation zone.  We do not always end up with a masterpiece, but we can certainly enjoy accepting the challenge. Figure Drawing meets the third Thursday of each month from 10 am to 1pm.

You may incorporate whatever medium and approach you may choose or come just to observe before jumping in to paint or sketch.  Just a reminder that our charge of just $10.00 includes both model and building use fee.

Message: Hi there!

I can be reached at our office number (724) 834-4880 or by email lkinkaid@greensburgpa.org Thank you!
